Our beginnings are humble. And we carry that humility in our work more than 20 years later. Our founder, Malachi Salcido, was an accountant by day, and an HVAC repair man by night.
He saw a need that he could fill, and a way to support his growing family. The work was rewarding, and he quickly realized that this was a way that he could serve the people in his community.
It wasn’t long before Malachi decided to ditch the briefcase and go full-time with his budding HVAC business. The Salcido Connection was born.
That was more than 20 years ago.
Today, The Salcido Connection is a thriving business with a team of over 30. If it’s heating, cooling, or refrigeration all the way to designing and implementing large HVAC and electrical systems, our expertise and reputation are strong. And we haven’t forgotten our humble beginnings.
Our headquarters are in Wenatchee, WA, which is ideal for facilities that process data and cryptocurrency and run artificial intelligence. Years ago, our low power rates and available land drew a series of outside investors who wanted to install cryptocurrency facilities in our valley.
They turned to The Salcido Connection to design and build the state-of-the-art HVAC and electrical solutions. Those projects never materialized, but our plans for infrastructure did. Our expertise matched the inherent attributes needed for this emerging industry.
It was time to diversify, and in 2013, we launched Salcido Enterprises. Our expertise and reputation in incremental data space development and cryptocurrency mining and hosting has earned us a worldwide reputation as an industry leader.
Today, the Salcido Group of Companies includes operating companies, real estate development and investment, and a growing portfolio throughout the Central Washington region.
